Whether or not there are any plans to connect it or release it with James Cameron's 2022 untitled Avatar sequel remains to be seen, but Ubisoft is carving out a piece of the universe for itself. There had been plenty of speculation over whether Ubisoft's Avatar game was canceled or not after so much silence, but its reemergence proves that the team at Massive Entertainment has been hard at work to bring the game to life on the latest and greatest technology. This is the first real look at Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and it looks pretty incredible. Ubisoft announced it would be working to create a video game based on James Cameron's massively popular movie franchise several years ago, but has been silent on that front ever since. At E3 2021, Ubisoftshowcased the first look at its new open-world licensed game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
